Assessor and Verifier Awards
We at SafeCert Awards provide the accreditation service through our awarding body to provide our accredited trainers and accredited centres a range of Teaching, Assessing and Verifying Awards.
Qualification Levels
SafeCert provide a total of four TAQA Assessor Awards, three IQA (Internal Quality Assurance) Verifier Awards and three EQA (External Quality Assurance) Verifier Awards. The details of each level is as follows:
- TAQA Assessor Awards are suitable for those who would like to train to become qualified assessors. The four assessor qualifications currently available are as follows:
- Level 3 Award in Understanding the Principles and Practices of Assessment (RQF)
- Level 3 Award in Assessing Competence in the Work Environment (RQF)
- Level 3 Award in Assessing Vocationally Related Achievement (RQF)
- Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (RQF)
- IQA Verifier Awards are designed for those working in, or intending to work in, a role as an internal quality assurer. These qualifications, that meet sector standards, have replaced
the V1 Award for Internal Verifiers. The qualifications currently offer are: - Level 4 Award in Understanding the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (RQF)
- Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (RQF)
- Level 4 Certificate in Leading the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (RQF)
- RQF Level 3-4
- EQA Verifier Awards are suitable for those who would like to train to become qualified external quality assurers and work for awarding organisations. The three external quality assurance qualifications currently available are as follows:
- Level 4 Award in Understanding the External Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (RQF)
- Level 4 Award in the External Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (RQF)
- Level 4 Certificate in Leading the External Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (RQF)
- RQF Level 4
