We at SafeCert Awards provide the accreditation service through our awarding body to provide our accredited trainers, assessors and accredited centres a range of First Aid at Work Awards including the SafeCert Level 3 Award in Basic Life Support and Management of Anaphylaxis (RQF) qualification.

Qualification Details

The SafeCert Level 3 Award in Basic Life Support and Management of Anaphylaxis (RQF) is a training qualification which is specifically designed for those who need to recognize anaphylaxis and be able to treat the casualty until medical help arrives. This award covers the basics such as managing unresponsive casualties who are not breathing normally.

The award has 4 learning outcomes as follows:

Be able to manage an unresponsive casualty who is breathing normally
Be able to manage a casualty who is not breathing normally
Know how to recognise a casualty with anaphylaxis
Be able to manage a casualty with anaphylaxis

This award is usually completed in minimum of 5 hours teaching and has one unit.  The award comes with a qualification certification.

This very practical course will enable your learners to be competent in in a variety of settings.

The qualification is valid for 3 years and all learners will be assessed for their practical skills as well as their knowledge in the form of a multiple choice question paper.
